Terms & Conditions
TREAMENT PROVISION
The massage treatments are provided by an individual practitioner, Stephen Jackson and not by the venues TruthPie Wellness, Waterloo Body Station or Space to Be You.
HEALTH & SAFETY
Clients must inform the therapist of any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or recent surgeries prior to the session, usually via an electronic consultation form, link included in client confirmation email. Massage therapy is not a substitute for medical treatment and the therapist reserves the right to decline or modify treatment if it is deemed unsafe or inappropriate on the client's health information. The responsibility for client's Health & Safety belongs to the therapist and not the venue, with the client being responsible for providing the therapist with correct medical history.
REASONABLE ADJUSTMENTS
If you require any reasonable adjustments please contact the therapist via stephenjacksonmassagetherapy@gmail.com or 07830 309302 to ensure they can be accommodated by the venue. Some adjustments may require collaboration with the building management teams, which can take time and planning. Reasonable adjustments will always be made where possible, but we enough notice and appropriate information from the client is requied.
LATE POLICY
If arrival is delayed, every effort will be made to accommodate your full appointment but this may not always be possible. Service time may be abbreviated to avoid delays for other patients due to treatments being charged at full value. Last minute changes to appointments will be honoured only if a service appointment is available for a later time in the day (of your appointment) and other clients are not inconvenienced.
CANCELLATION & NO SHOW
Customers who book appointments and cannot attend their scheduled appointments are granted full credit provided that at least a 24-hour notice is given. No refunds are offered for no show appointments. Last minute changes to appointments will be honoured only if the service time is available and other patients are not inconvenienced. All gift voucher sales are final, with no refunds.
RIGHT TO REFUSE
We love having you as a client, but we do reserve the right to refuse any service at any time, to anyone, for any reason.
PAYMENTS & GRATUITY
In general, the accepted payments are Cash, PayPal, MasterCard, Visa and American Express.
Some practitioners may or may not accept any of the above.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
Please notify us before reserving or booking your treatments if you have: high blood pressure, special physical concerns, diabetes, or are pregnant. All clinic patients will be asked to complete a consultation form by thier practitioner before arrival or at check-in, all designed with your well-being in mind.
AGE REQUIREMENT
Minors are invited to have treatments with us as long as they are accompanied by an adult (parent or guardian).
If you are over 18 and look younger than 18, please bring a photo ID.
QUIET ENVIRONMENT
As a courtesy to other patients, please maintain a quiet level of conversation. Please turn mobile phones off/ to mute/airplane mode when entering the clinic.
GIFT VOUCHERS
If gift vouchers are available for treatments, they may not be redeemable if lost or stolen. Gift Vouchers have expired date that will be provided upon purchase. Gift voucher sales are final, with no refunds. Gift vouchers are only redeemable against treatments by Stephen Jackson Massage.
PACKAGES
If packages are available:
Packages cannot be exchanged for cash or any other goods or services.
Packages may be transferred to a friend or family member and so can be shareable with other people.
Packages are non-refundable even in the event of medical circumstances.
Packages expiry dates cannot be extended unless there are unprecedented circumstances such as a pandemic.
Stephen Jackson Massage reserves the right to dishonour a package if it reasonably believes the redeemer stole or is otherwise not the intended beneficiary of the purchaser. Packages do not represent proof of payment.
PRICES SUBJECT TO CHANGE
Although every effort is made to keep the website and treatment menu updated, please note that prices and treatments are subject to change at any time.
VISITORS
I am not able to accommodate visitors accompanying customers in our treatment rooms unless accompanying a minor or a handicapped person.
CUSTOMERS’ RIGHT TO KNOW
We strive to exceed our clients’ needs. We believe that advising our clients of the treatments best suited for them is as essential as the service performed. Therefore, the clients’ right to know policy advises each client on the techniques best suited for the client to maximise the benefits of their service.
ATTIRE
Proper attire is to be worn at all times. Proper attire includes a towel or other linen around the waist or chest at all times. Towels may be provided for your treatment at the clinic. If you wish to be uncovered during the treatment please speak to the practitioner prior to booking and you must adhere to their requests for everyone to feel comfortable, safe and protected and they may ask you to wear your underwear at all times.
Stephen Jackson Massage reserves the right to change these Terms & Conditions from time to time at its sole discretion.
