For individuals experiencing high levels of stress or chronic tension, booking a session once a week can be highly beneficial. For those simply looking for general relaxation or maintenance of health, 90 mins monthly sessions are often enough to experience the benefits.
Some clients prefer a more occasional approach, booking a session when they feel particularly stressed, fatigued, or in need of emotional balance. Regardless of the frequency, holistic massage is an effective tool for ongoing well-being and self-care.
What to expect during a session
When you come for a holistic massage with me, I’ll begin with a discussion to understand your physical, mental, and emotional health, allowing me to tailor the session to your individual needs. You may be asked about any areas of discomfort or emotional stress you’ve been experiencing, as these can affect the way your body holds tension.
During the session, you can expect a combination of gentle strokes, soothing pressure, and possibly some gentle assisted stretches to enhance the healing experience. The focus will be on deep relaxation and restoring balance to your body, mind, and spirit. Sessions lasts 60, 90 or 120 minutes, depending on your needs: a 60 mins session will be focused on a few areas of the body whereas 90 or 120 mins session allow sufficient time for a fully body massage.
Throughout the massage, feel free to communicate any preferences or areas you’d like to focus on. I will ensure that you feel comfortable and at ease throughout the experience.
After your session, you may feel deeply relaxed and centred. It’s normal to feel a sense of lightness and peace, as if your body and mind are in harmony. To maximize the benefits, I may also offer guidance on breathing techniques or self-care practices that you can incorporate into your daily routine.
