Each essential oil has unique benefits, from calming the nervous system to boosting energy or promoting detoxification. The oils are carefully chosen based on your individual needs, allowing for a customized experience. Whether you're seeking relaxation, relief from muscle pain, or an emotional uplift, aromatherapy massage combines physical touch with the power of scent to create a truly holistic treatment.

How often should I book a session?

The frequency of aromatherapy massage sessions depends on your personal wellness goals and lifestyle. For those dealing with chronic stress, anxiety, or sleep issues, weekly or fortnightly sessions can provide lasting benefits. If your goal is general relaxation and maintaining balance, booking a 90 mins session once a month may be sufficient.

Individuals with specific issues, such as muscle tension or low energy, may choose to schedule massages more frequently during times of heightened need, such as after a busy period at work or during a transition. Regular sessions help maintain your body’s equilibrium and prevent stress from building up.

What to expect during a session

Before your aromatherapy massage session, I will send you an electronic consultation form, to understand your physical and emotional state, your goals for the session, and any preferences you have regarding essential oils. This allows me to select the perfect blend of oils tailored to your needs—whether it’s to relax, energize, detoxify, or uplift.

During the massage, the essential oils will be mixed with a carrier oil and applied to your skin through long, flowing strokes and gentle pressure. As the oils are absorbed through the skin, their healing properties will take effect, while their aroma promotes emotional balance. You will be encouraged to breathe deeply to maximize the benefits of the oils. Sessions lasts 60, 90 or 120 minutes, depending on your needs: a 60 mins session will be focused on a few areas of the body whereas 90 or 120 mins session allow sufficient time for a fully body massage. 

As the session progresses, you’ll likely feel tension and stress melt away. The gentle massage will stimulate circulation, reduce muscle stiffness, and promote a deep state of relaxation. You may also experience an emotional release or mood shift, as the aromatic properties of the oils work to calm your mind and restore balance.

After the session, you may feel deeply relaxed and rejuvenated, with an improved sense of well-being. I may recommend specific oils for home use or self-care tips to help you maintain the benefits between sessions.
